Have you got a desire to write your story? What if you could get your entire novel outlined and ready to go on the end of day 2 of this workshop.
A workshop on fiction writing for beginners will be held on the 8th and 15th September 2024 at Hamilton Green 3/176 Hastings river drive Port Macquarie from 10.00am until 4.30pm.
Ms Polmear is a best -selling published author and has been mentoring small writing groups in the local area for the last 6 years. In 2022 and 2023 Ms Polmear mentored the Wauchope Friday Writer’s group and they published their short stories in book form. These writers had never written before and surprised themselves when they held their published book for the first time. It was an exhilarating experience.
A story has five basic but important elements. In the workshop we’ll start with these elements on day 1. These five components are: the characters, the setting, the plot, the conflict, and the resolution. These essential elements keep the story running smoothly and allow the action to develop in a logical way that the reader can follow.
The cost for the 2 day workshop is $180.00. I’m offering an early bird special price of $150.00 if registered and paid for by August 18th 2024.
